5 Apps for Instagram

When I first started my blog and Instagram the only two apps I used were Instagram and WordPress. Over the years my collection of apps that I download and delete have constantly rotated. However, there are a few that I absolutely love using. So I wanted to share them with you in hopes that you might enjoy using them and strengthen your own Insta game.

Ghost mode on Mosaico

Mosaico easily earns its position as my #1 app due to all its amazing features. In Mosaico, you can pre-arrange your Instagram feed. Thereby allowing you to see what looks best for your audience. It also allows you to better visualize and pre-plan your monthly content. My favorites feature that Mosaico offers is the ability to use the “Tag Cloud.” The tag cloud is a place where you can customize groups of tags for you to copy and past into Instagram. I used to have to write down my tags in my notebook to copy and paste into Instagram. Now Mosaico cuts out all the hassle.

Adobe Lightroom is by far my favorite app for editing my pictures. Lightroom is a very user-friendly approach to editing your photos. Once you purchase Lightroom you’ll have access to tons of presets for you to use. But if you aren’t a fan of the ones they have you can make your own! I have a good handful of presets that I’ve made myself which are my go-to for almost any shot. One of the best features from Lightroom is their Creative Cloud Storage which allows you to back up all of your photos and access them on any device. I tend to edit photos on my computer or iPad if I’m on the go and then cross reference how they look on my iPhone all in a matter of seconds. Trust me you won’t regret purchasing this app.

If Lightroom isn’t in your budget but you still are looking for great presets check out A Color Story. A Color Story has a huge variety of presets for users to choose from. Just like Lightroom you can also edit and create your own personally tailored presets. But if you don’t want to create your own preset A Color Story has tons of other presets that they are constantly releasing. My favorite preset that I’ve purchased is called “Fawn.” It’s very warm and earthy and one of my favorites to use on my stories. Additionally, you can layer your presets to create the absolute perfect look.

An example of just one of the template designs Unfold has to offer.

Scrolling through Instagram I saw that some accounts had such aesthetically pleasing stories. It took me a while to figure out that they were using this amazing app. Unfold allows users to pre-arrange their Instagram stories and directly upload them to their stories from the app itself. Unfold sets itself apart with their incredible collection of templates for users to apply. Allowing you to perfectly customize your story and truly set yourself apart.

So many apps focus on customizing colored presets. But few excel in customizing black and white presets. Black allows users to customize their photos to perfectly tailored black and white presets. Black allows your photos to look even more professional and timeless with just a few easy clicks.

Hopefully you’ll find some of these apps helpful for your own Instagram feed!
