Garlic Kale Chips

Kale chips are one of my favorite summer snacks. They’re super easy to make and addicting to eat. I always end up needing to double the recipe because of how much my sister and I enjoy snacking on them. So here’s a quick little recipe guide to help you make your own version! Feel free to alter the recipe to your own taste preferences.

Garlic Kale Chips

Prep Time 15 mins
Cook Time 20 mins
Servings 4

  • Baking Sheet
  • Aluminum Foil
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Measuring Spoons

  • 1 Bunch Kale
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. Wash the kale and pat dry. Cut the center stalk of the kale out. Then cut the remaining leaves into the size you wish to eat. I aim for about 1-2 inches a piece. Then place the pieces into a large bowl and coat with the olive oil and lemon juice.
  • Roughly chop the garlic.
  • Combine all the dry ingredients in a seperate bowl and then sprinkle over the kale.
  • Place the kale in a single layer on a cookie sheet and sprinkle chopped garlic on top (you may need more than one sheet). Cook for 15-20 minutes and flip the leaves halfway through cooking.
